Chhath which takes place duroing the season of summer is referred to as Chaiti Chhath. The other one which is organized sometimes after the occasion of Deepawali is regarded as Kartik Chhath. This particular festival continues for a period of four days. During these four days, the people observing this festival follows strict ritualistic principles. They sleep on a blanket spread on the floor. Especially the women observe this particular festival.
The Sun God is worshipped in Chhath festival of Bihar. Teej is another among the significant festivals in Bihar. This is a festival which is generally observed by the Hindus. The women of Bihar observes this particular festival for acquiring blessings in their marital life.
